Carol Finch
Carol Finch is a UK based freelance writer. She graduated with a BA (Hons) in German and Danish from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne in 1987 and worked in various sales and marketing roles in the finance/IT recruitment sectors before opting to go freelance full-time after the birth of her son.
Carol has over 10 years' freelance writing experience across both business and consumer sectors for both online and offline clients. An active member of elance.com since 2000, she has established business links with over 125 clients on the site and maintains a portfolio of offline clients, many of whom she has worked with for a number of years.
Carol's writing experience is primarily focused on the finance, marketing and technology sectors. From a finance perspective, she has broad experience of writing on both consumer and business subjects covering all elements of the financial life-cycle from teen finances through to retirement planning. Her traditional marketing background has evolved over the years to incorporate a variety of technology and strategy-focused eCommerce writing projects for both B2B and B2C markets. During her career she has ghost-written a wide variety of web articles, sites and e-books.
Carol Finch joined Suite101 to regain some writing freedom. Keen to write for herself, as well as for her clients, she is enjoying being able to showcase her business and financial capabilities alongside subjects in which she has a personal and/or professional interest.
